This Rover is an original example of these stunning V8’s it is a very solid car with a nice period tobacco leaf beige paint job. The car has had two owners from new. The first owner had the car for 38 years and the second owner for 11. The car comes with extensive service history.

 

Auctioneer’s notes:

This is a good example of an unrestored, original P6, having had only 2 owners from new.  She was supplied by Henleys of Watford to a Mr. J.A. Thomas on 25.2.72.  He was the custodian for 38 years and the last registered keeper has owned her from September 2010.

Now to the history file, it is massive going back 49 years and it includes “Rover Passport”, 8 stamps to 49,797 miles.  It also has every tax discs from 1979 to 2014, useful books and car club magazines plus driver’s handbook.  Add the service book plus invoices plus MOT history file and you can safely say that the mileage is 100% correct. These models, with this wonderful V8 Engine, capable of nearly 120 MPH are extremely good cars to drive and definitely do not have the Auntie Tag.    May be viewed, strictly by appointment.
