What a rare car. We are privileged to offer this fantastic example at our next classic sale. She is finished in silver, with black leather trim, the mileage is only 60,000, the private vendor has had the wheels refurbished, new fuel pump and filters. These SL60 AMG’s are so rare, only 50 rhd cars were made and were sold at a list price of £110,000. We believe that these cars were hand-made and the AMG treatment includes larger brakes, uprated tuned suspension, discreet body styling and enormous split-rim alloys. Under the bonnet you will find the fabulous AMG tuned 32 valve 6 litre V8 which officially produces 384 bhp as not to overshadow its brother the V12 SL600. However, independent tests show the real output was closer the 410 bhp. These cars are docile around town but put your foot down it becomes a snarling rocket machine. The road holding is race bred, the sound, what sound, from the 4 exhaust pipes, makes your hair stand on end. Top speed 185 mph limited to 155 mph. 0-60 in 5 seconds. These cars are a seriously quick and the wonderful things about them they stop and handle equal to their performance.
