Volkswagen Beetle 1984

Marybell is a Mexican built, (to a UK / German spec and therefore fully rust treated), VW Beetle 1200. She is Alpine White, with black and cream interior, all original. She has a host of spare parts and an original leather nose cover (bra!). She also comes with all manuals, receipts and paperwork for all the modifications that have been made. Bodywork and engine in excellent condition. Has only ever been used for leisure, which show in the low mileage. She would make a superb car for a wedding business.
Marybell was bought by Flt Edward Needham whilst he was posted at RAF Bruggen, Germany, in 1984. Shortly after purchasing, he made the following modifications: Alloy wheels, smaller steering wheel, Chrome spoilers / bumpers, Towbar and Pioneer radio & speakers. In 1988 (reg 23/12/88) he brought it back to the UK with him and it was first registered in the UK on 23/12/1988. In 1991, Ed had a leather sunroof added and a car alarm. She was sold to the current owner on 13/09/2003. She is reluctantly selling now, as she no longer has the time to use her and now having 2 young children she’s discovered that car seats don’t fit! It is very much hoped by the vendor that she will find someone that can enjoy and look after her.
Nearly every MOT since the vehicle arrived in the UK in 1988 is included in the file, all invoices for work and maintenance, original V.A.G bookpack and service book containing 3 stamps (1984, 1985 and 2004). We have also received a letter from the chairman of the Mexican Brazilian Beetle register that we will include in the file in which he has given lots of useful and interesting information on the car.
