Description:Auctioneers notes: It would have been a pleasant drive to Paignton had it not been for the traffic, 21st century traffic driving on 1930 roads in Dorset. The vendor has owned this delightful Triumph Stag since August 2004. Great history and MOT file back to 1995. This Triumph Stag has a current MOT to 10.5.19 and is finished in an attractive blue with beige trim. She is fitted with an automatic transmission and has the correct Triumph V8 engine. The car has been very well maintained during the vendor’s ownership. Recent bills for brake overhaul and service are in the file and she was wax-oiled in October 06 after she was stripped to the bare metal and had a new boot lid etc. All this was carried out in May 06 and all the invoices are on file which also include a complete re-trim. The bills on file add up to 17 invoices which total a lot of money. Interestingly, it shows that the first invoice in 1998 shows the mileage at 36,387. The MOT file has 17 certificates, mileage of the first one in ’95 was 36,008 and the last certificate in May this year shows a mileage of 42,050, this means she has covered 5992 miles in 23 years. She also has 9 old tax discs and she may be viewed by appointment. |
