Description:

As stated in the substantial history file, this Triumph Herald was purchased new by Reg Whittaker of Burton on Trent from the Light Car Company, Derby christened Bluebell by Reg’s wife Ida and used only lightly for pleasure. Passing to his widow, Mrs. Ida Whittaker, in 1981 and then to nephew Mr. George Cantrell in 2000. Bluebell retains all her original engine and gearbox, running gear and all major components; all original interior including seats, door cards, carpets, dashboard and glass. No modifications or upgrades; replacements parts are ‘new old stock’. No repair panels or body filler, the body and doors have never been removed and she retains much of her original Wedgwood Blue paint finish.

Auctioneers Notes: I have never seen a history file like this. This car is virtually in original condition, as it was when it left the factory. Serious buyers will fully appreciate its contents, give yourself some time to absorb the details and information contained. In 2008 this car was voted the best Herald in the TSSC International show.
