Description:Launched in 1948, the Sunbeam Talbot 90 was notable for its streamlined body with flowing front wings and integral headlamps. This MkIIa saloon features a 2267cc engine producing 70HP. There is a 4 speed column speed gearbox. Originally registered in the UK LSK151 where it passed through the hands of several members of the Sunbeam Talbot Register. Exported to Ireland in 2004, the car was a regular on the Vintage Rally scene there during the 2015 season. Has overdrive though a new switch (supplied) will need fitting. Also has the optional heater and original semaphore indicators in working order. Car comes with the factory supplied tools located in the boot lid and also a new workshop manual. The vendor reports it occasionally slips out of second gear. |
