Rover 3500 Vanden Plas EFI Auto 1984

Description:

It is thought this Rover was a demonstrator for the first year of its life then on 12-06-1985 it was bought by Boe and Co of Dundee for their managing director Mr Ranald Finlay Boe. At some point in the company ownership the registration number BOE98T was put on the car. When Mr Boe retired in 1990 he subsequently bought the car from his company. It remained in Mr Boe’s ownership until 2014.
Looking through the MOT’s it appears that the car was driven until the late 1990’s and there is evidence that it was taxed up to 31st January 1998 but not since.
Mr James Laing acquired the car in 2014 and set about the recommissioning. the car was then bought by the owner in 2015 who finished the recommissioning and put on a fresh MOT but have done very few miles since.
By looking through the documents that come with the car and indeed the fantastic overall condition, you can see that the mileage of just 49,400 is correct. This is a genuine, low mileage, unrestored example of a beautifully designed classic.

Auctioneers notes: On face value I think this car is 90% original in regards to paintwork. She is a fine example of a gutsy V8 which is very good value.
