Description:Auctioneers notes: This is a very tidy and well looked after Rover 3.5 Saloon, finished in admiralty blue with tan leather. The vendor has owned this car since May 08. She has a great patina about her and an excellent invoice history from June 08 to the current time, plus a few early invoices. The file is very comprehensive, and I will pick out just two: 1 for a gearbox overhaul for £930 carried out on 22.8.11 by Tes Transmission Ltd. of Westbury and the other for an engine overhaul carried out by Barum Engineering Ltd on 30.11.11 for £2634.63. In the files are included 24 old MOT’s from June 1990, mileage 64514 to March ‘18, mileage 75911, it shows she only covered 11337 miles in 28 years. Also in the file is the DVLA’s owners history plus letters on file from the 2nd owner (according to the DVLA) that the previous owner to him purchased the car in 1973 i.e. 4 owners since ’73. We do have the green log book. She has to her advantage electronic ignition, electric cooling fan – silicone engine water hoses – replacement break master and servo unit fitted. Most importantly she has had underbody wax oiled in 2018 and for your reading the purchaser will have 2 owners instruction manuals, maintenance manuals and 2 very large workshop manuals, and finally, she has a BMIHD Certificate of Factory Records.
