1937 Rolls-Royce 25/30 Windovers Limousine 8064 (Not Warranted) £20,520 + buyers premium

Description:

1937 Rolls-Royce 25/30 Windovers LTD limousine with division, black over cream. GR051 was despatched from Rolls-Royce to Jack Berkeley LTD, George Street, London. They then supplied the car to Mr Stroyan of Lanrick Castle in Scotland after having the chassis aluminium bodied by Windovers to his specification. Unusually for a Limousine bodied car GR051 still retains her original body. This Rolls-Royce was fully restored between 2002-2004 and has covered minimal miles since and still presents well. Finished in black with cream sides, the rear passenger compartment is trimmed in West of England Cloth and the driver’s compartment has dark brow leather seats and door cards. The vendor states the car performs well showing good oil pressure and changes gear without any unsavoury noises. Photocopies of the original chassis cards and order forms are included in the history file. This matching numbers and very imposing Limousine is now reluctantly for sale due to business commitments.
