Body off restoration of chassis . New out riggers . New suspension polybushs , 3 litre engine rebuilt with hardened valve seats and all new gaskets and seals . Sills replaced and reinforced . Complete rewire . Stainless steel exhaust .New fuel tank and sender . rebuilt clutch,new water pump and electric fan with thermostat . 4 new springs and shocks,New lower and upper trunnions, new engine mounts. Electric fuel pump and filter fitted . Copper fuel lines and all new brake pipes.
This is the v6 version of the Scimitar se4 coupe . It was an expensive car in its day and considered to be quite a quick GT car . Much time, effort and money has been spent on this car and it is nearly ready for regular and hopefully , reliable service . There is still a small amount of work to be done ,such as adjusting the boot and bonnet fit . Unfortunately the previous owner thought he would have a go at respraying the car and the result was not a great success so the car really now needs a proper repaint by a professional . This car offers a great way into classic car ownership.
