Description from The Vendor:

I have been the owner since it was given to me by my Great uncle Billy in 2003, he purchased it new in 1961 from Parkstone Motor Company.

I took over the maintenance for him in 1963 and have been doing all the mechanical work to this day.

Registered as 3061LJ, some time in the nineties my uncle became short of money and sold the number plate, hence now BJT197A.

As a tribute to my uncle I decided to do a Renovation. I did the work myself as I was a motor mechanic.
I I had the bodywork and paintwork done professionally.

When the engine was stripped down it only needed Piston Rings and shells, it has never been Re – Bored or the Crank Re – Ground, – all standard.

The Head was overhauled and modified to run on Unleaded fuel.
All numbers match on the Heritage Certificate.

Mollie was entered the Beaulieu Morris Minor Show in 2017 and had 1stPlace in Concours. Also entered in 2018 and also 1st place with enough points to enter the< Master Class>.

Because of commitments in 2019 I couldn’t enter and then Covid arrived.

The time has come for a new Owner as my 80th is approaching.

Auctioneer’s notes:

This is, without doubt, the best Morris Minor I have ever seen.  She has in her files 2 concourse winners rosettes, from 2017 and 2018, when  she obtained MASTER STATUS.  The car was purchased by the vendor

from the first owner, his great uncle, and he set about making it the best there is.  The memory stick is in the file of the renovation.  You will also find old tax discs, MOT’s and a BMIH TRust certificate.  There is a comprehensive file of invoices from 2003.  She is truly outstanding.  May be viewed, strictly by appointment.
