This lovely vehicle has spent most of its life in South Africa, it was exported directly from the factory where it remained until March 1989 when it was purchased by another ‘long term owner’ Mr Novati who then owned it for 26 years until May 2015 and was part of a seven vehicle collection . Enclosed in the vehicle history is a picture of the MG bearing a Consular Corps style plate from the 1980’s to 1990’s. In 1995 the car was restored by a Milan based company called Kappa. Since the restoration the MG has not been utilised as is evident by its present condition.

Since the current vendors ownership there has been some considerable re-commissioning and is fully documented in the history file but includes four new tyresand wire wheels, the steering box has been replaced with a VW steering box, windscreen wiper motor refurbishment and to maximise its performance has been put onto a ‘rolling road’ for tuning. In the vendors opinion having used the vehicle regularly in the last couple of months he considers the engine is still ‘tight’ and runs very well.

It also comes with a long MOT, expires 21st April 2017, spare set of keys, various MG documentation, all transfer documentation including the Italian log book and certificates.

Auctioneers Notes
When I visited the vendors house to view the vehicle the outstanding MG TC finished in Black with Red trim and bright chrome I can only descibe as being outstanding. It is obvious that upon examination of the car that she has done very little mileage indeed since its restoration. The vendor is reluctantly selling the car because his wife finds the car too uncomfortable. Of all the MG T series the TC is THE ONE to have!
