MG B Roadster 1967

Down in deepest Dorset I had the pleasure of meeting the vendor and his extremely nice car. We have a comprehensive service history from 1990 until the present day. There is an interesting photocopy of an article printed in a classic car magazine – see appendix A. She has her own dust cover and original handbook and old tax discs. The history file has a detailed log of money spent on her from 16th March ’92 until 14th July 05 amounting to £4791.37 plus loads of invoices from then to the present day, She has had an Ivor Searle engine fitted together with a Double S Exhaust Ltd system which includes a sports exhaust manifold on 12th June ’96. There are 24 MOT’s which show and prove that she has only covered 17,000 mils since restoration.

Appendix A: Extract from a motoring magazine “this vehicle was completely restored in 1989 to the highest standards using a B.L. Heritage body shell. Every body panel is new and the car has been wax-oyled throughout. Both engine and gearbox have been rebuilt. The suspension has been entirely rebuilt and renewed throughout. The car meticulously finished in tartan red and the interior has been retrimmed though it retains the character of original black leather seats with red piping. The car is complemented by a black double duck hood and wire wheels. Reg No. MAE400F Chassis No GHN3124417”

Auctioneers Notes: This is an outstanding MG not concours but very clean. Excellent history file from 1990 when she had a B.L> Heritage body shell fitted. She sits on chrome W.W. and benefits from overdrive, parabolic springs and electronic ignition. I noticed when I inspected her that is fitted with rear telescopic shocks and a wooden dash.
