Lot No: 30
Year Make Model Mileage SOLD FOR
1966 MG B GT 64,862 (Not Warranted) £6450 + buyers premium

Description:

This early ‘narrow tunnel’ 1966 GT has been owned since 1974 by the proprietor of a local main dealer, and we think there was only one owner before this (although the V5C shows no former keepers). It is a genuine GHD3 car with overdrive, wire wheels, and retractable sunroof. The car has been restored twice, but retains the early features except the seats which have been replaced with more comfortable recliners.
The history file includes the original handbook, workshop manual, current V5C and previous registration documents, MOTs, and photographs of restoration work.
Unfortunately we can’t warrant the mileage, but we do know it has only had occasional use (only 347 miles in the last 12 years!), so the low mileage is quite possibly correct.
Finished in British racing green with black leather trim, and sitting on restored wires, this rust free MG looks superb and drives and sounds as well as it looks. There aren’t many of these early examples left in such good order, and with such low ownership.

Auctioneers notes: A very sound good looking GT with all the right bits, wire wheels, O/D, sunroof etc

Please note: Since the car has been with us it is showing signs of micro blistering
