Description:1966 MGB GT 3 Syncro gearbox with overdrive, wire wheels in BRG. The vendor has owned the vehicle for 15 years and in that time he has replaced O/S front wing N/S rear quarter panel,sills castle sections and any welding related. Stripped down and resprayed vehicle. Removed engine and gearbox, regrind crankshaft inspected gearbox, fitted exchange overdrive unit and refitted. Replaced shock absorbers all round and road springs. Replaced rear axle with exchange unit from MGB Hive still under warranty. New carpets,headlining etc. Had a colour change previous to his ownership from Red to Green. Some bills and old MOT’s from previous owner dating back to 1996. List of work done and bills from vendors ownership to the amount of £6600 approx no labour cost as most of the work was done myself a qualified BL mechanic. Used regularly as a daily drive. The vendor states the car is reliable and drives very well for a 51 year old car. |
