The engine was serviced and when an oil leak was found the engine was removed and repaired. box file of history includes old MOTs, invoices, service book with 2 stamps, owners manual plus other books. Auctioneers notes: This Mercedes Benz 280 SL R129 is a fine example. Having had low ownership, a total of 4, the vendor acquired her in 2013 and the previous owner had her from June ’97. Sadly the early history has gone missing, but there are loads and loads of invoices etc. and old MOT’s back to 2004 and, by the way, since then she has only covered 16,690 miles. There is a duplicate service book, one service in November ’14 mileage 67981 and the other in June ’17 mileage 69315. There are 2 brake fluid changes recorded plus replacement coolant at the same dates. This, together with all the invoices and old MOT’s shows that this car has been well loved and looked after properly. She has all the Mercedes books and spare keys. May be viewed by appointment. |
