After resting under a tree for 30 years this Lotus Elan has had a full nut and bolt rebuild (see images above), the vendor states the body work is finished to a higher standard that the original following many hours of professional restoration. Fitted with a new Spyder Cars racing chassis with their fully adjustable suspension and drive shaft system. The engine has been completely rebuilt including a Burton cassette water pump system. Auctioneers notes: This is one of the best Elan’s I have seen. The finish of the paintwork can only be described as excellent as is the rest of the car. She is a real beauty – may be viewed by appointment.
