Lot No: 71
Year Make Model Mileage SOLD FOR
1972 Fiat 500 86,000 (Not Warranted) £9200.00 + buyers premium

Description:

This Fiat 500 was acquired by an enthusiast in 1993 who set about making it into an Abarth Replica. It has had sport modifications to Fiat Abarth 695cc specification using authentic components including an unleaded head and valves, upgraded fast road cam, sports exhaust, Dellorto 40′ side draft carb, Cavazza deep dish alloy sump, Alquati manifold, uprated brakes, lowered suspension to Abarth specifications and Abarth pistons and barrels.
Included in the history file is a bill for £2344 for the above engine rebuild dated 1996. The history file is extremely comprehensive with stacks of invoices for all the work carried out from 1993- present such as a repaint for £1425,67 in 1995, along with a retrim for £395. Also included are MOTs dating back to 1993 when the mileage was 58,643 which leads us to believe the mileage is most probably genuine, unfortunately there is no history prior to ’93 so we cannot warrant it. The bills in the history total approximately £15,000 and this is reflected in the condition of the vehicle.

Auctioneers notes: This is the ultimate puddle jumper!
