J Type Bedford tipper 6 Cylinder Diesel. 2 speed axle. 7,100kg gross vehicle weight so can be driven on a car licence. exempt from road tax and MOT. Offered in good condition that is a credit to its owner. This Bedford has spent its life in Malta, consequently no rust. This particular model was introduced in 1958. We believe this to be manufactured 1959 where it was exported from the UK to Malta and registered in 1960, where it spent its life working everyday until May 2012 when it was returned to the UK. Now registered with UK plates. The cab is red, the tipper body is in green mounted on a black chassis. It is normal for the Maltese to decorate a vehicle in this way, displaying the names of children and wives on the side of the vehicle.
